What are precincts and districts?

Pima County intersects three Congressional Districts (CDs) and six Legislative Districts (LDs). An LD can have several dozen or more precincts. Each CD elects one member of the US House. Each LD elects two members to the Arizona House and one to the Arizona Senate. Each precinct has a number of PCs (usually 2-10) based on the number of participating Democratic voters in past elections, and the overall population of the area.

This search will give your Precinct, CD, and LD. It also gives the names of various other districts like your precinct, fire district, and school district, and will alert you if there are upcoming elections in any of your districts.
